My pet rock journal

What you need????
* glue eyes on the rock
* write out a word bank/haiku/pet journal

* organise for it to go to a class, e.g. dance class/gymnastics/playgroup/sports day

* send it for a sleepover
* write out a diet sheet for its food
* photograph it/blog about it
* make a scrapbook page about it
* write down its funniest sayings
* dress it up for a costume party
* send it on a holiday
* write it a bedtime story
* make it a form of transport/bed/play equipment/house (like you would make a dog house)
*give it a name
* give it a birthday party and a present
* take it for a walk in the park and document what you did with it
* have a picnic
* teach it a trick
* make an icanhascheezeburger with it

- does the rock have two or more colours? My rock is a darkesh grey and a bit of brown. So yes it is more than one colour.


- is the rock sandy? No it is more of a solid rock but it was sandy when we first got it

- does it make marks on paper? No not really only if we press it hard, and I mean HARD!!!!!

- does the rock float in water? Well at first it floats but then after a while it sinks to the bottem.

- does the rock have layers? Yes it sort of does it has bumps on it all around it.

- is the rock heavy? Not really it is sort of in beetwen.

- is the rock smooth or rough? It is very rough all around it. When you brush your finger


- does your rock have a fossil in it? No I dont think so I havent had a really good look at it so i'm not really sure.

- can you name a rock that will float? Yes and i will call it flapper I dont know why its just a good name.
